Party responsible for processing personal data

FMT Estudio, located in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, and reachable at hola@fmtestudio.mx, is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data under the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

Personal data we collect

Through this website’s contact form, we may collect the following information:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Information about your project, including type, location, stage, approximate budget and area
  • Any other information you voluntarily provide in the message field

We do not collect sensitive personal data as defined by Article 3, Section VI of the LFPDPPP.

Purposes of processing

Your personal data will be used for the following purposes:

Primary purposes, necessary for our relationship:

  • Responding to your inquiry or request for information
  • Evaluating the feasibility of an architecture or design project
  • Contacting you to schedule an initial meeting or call

Secondary purposes, which are optional:

  • Sending you information about the studio’s projects, publications or news

If you do not want your data used for secondary purposes, email hola@fmtestudio.mx with the subject line “Opt out of communications.”

Data transfers

FMT Estudio does not share, sell or transfer your personal data to third parties, except in the following cases:

  • Email and web-hosting service providers acting as data processors under strict confidentiality obligations
  • When required by a competent authority under applicable law

Retention periods

Your data will be retained for the time necessary to address your inquiry. If a professional relationship begins, it will be retained for the duration of the project plus five additional years for tax and legal purposes. After that period, your data will be deleted or anonymized.

ARCO rights

You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel or Oppose the processing of your personal data, known in Mexico as ARCO rights. To exercise these rights:

  1. Email your request to hola@fmtestudio.mx with the subject line “ARCO Rights”
  2. Include your full name, a clear description of the right you wish to exercise and a copy of an official identification document
  3. You will receive a response within no more than 20 business days

Use of cookies

This website is static and informational. It does not use tracking cookies, behavioral advertising or third-party analytics tools that involve the processing of personal data.

FMT Estudio reserves the right to update this notice at any time. Any changes will be published on this page. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
