This house was a very interesting challenge for us, because it is located in one of the city's most charismatic areas. Wide streets, tall buildings and front gardens with low walls define the neighborhood. Our goal was for the house to preserve the essence of the area while accommodating new needs.

The main inspiration for the intervention was the neo-Mayan and simplified Art Deco character of the neighborhood.

Because the house had been transformed over time, we returned the facade to its original state and added two new volumes to the existing construction to accommodate more rooms.

The pool was proposed with a special ceramic mosaic pattern, turning it into a colorful sculpture in the middle of the lush garden.
