La Casita

Wanting to simplify their life, a couple came to us to help them fit their home, previously housed in a much larger space, into a more compact building.

The challenge was to renovate the building while preserving the original structure, since it was located in an area protected by INAH.

Because it was a small space, we sought to make the most of every available corner. This was possible through built-in furniture and skylights.

We also transformed the exterior dining area into a well-lit interior space using a dome with a solar filter. This allowed us to have an open-sky dining room that enjoys the light while avoiding the heat.
