Vía Cumbres

This house, designed for a development in Cancun, seeks to simplify the facade volumes so it can be treated as a sculpture. It was very rewarding to find ways to modulate and distribute the interior spaces compactly, resulting in a space that is aesthetic and enjoyable from inside as well as outside.

The greatest challenge, because it was a small lot that had to contain a three-level house, was to fit a stair area that would not feel like an invasive volume inside the house, but rather as a sculptural element meant to be contemplated.
