We were asked to renovate a kitchen because the existing one was uncomfortable.

Originally this space worked as a kitchen-dining room divided by a breakfast bar, but it lacked organization, ventilation and light.

We proposed creating a space for cooking together and sharing the process. We extended the view to the outside and reorganized the utilities to create an environment where people could gather and carry out other activities comfortably; after all, kitchens in Yucatan are for much more than cooking.

The color of the metalwork was chosen especially to add a joyful touch.
